The keynote speakers for HP’s 18th HP-CAST HPC user group have been announced. HP-CAST will be held immediately prior to ISC12 next month in beautiful Hamburg, Germany. We will have three keynote speakers this year:
Prof. Thomas Ludwig, head of the German Climate Research Center (DKRZ) will focus on “HPC Trends and Challenges in Climate Research”
Thorvaldur Sigurdsson of Energy Research, Iceland will focus on “A New Large Scale HPC System in Iceland – a First Step Towards Green Exascale”
Prof. Satoshi Matsuoka, head of the University of Tokyo’s TITECH will address the question “Beyond Tsubame 2 – Bridging the Gap from Petascale to Exascale”
